Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing “net new” business opportunities throughout the domestic US. and Canada.
- Plan, develop, prospect and sell transportation services to a targeted list of potential customers while maintaining a positive business relationship to ensure future sales.
- Respond to RFP’s and bid packages to analyze potential sales and results.
- Achieve sales goals and revenue targets.
- Work proactively and uphold the commitment to unparalleled customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 3+ yrs of proven business development and sales successes within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Highly motivated sales hunter with a proven track record of sales successes.
- Strong client relationship and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, TMS, Salesforce and other CRM systems.
- Must work effectively in an office and team-oriented environment.
