Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Industry

Pinnacle has partnered with a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing system engineering company. This company is in Kansas City, and they are seeking to add a Commissioning Manager (MEP) to their growing team. They would be responsible for managing their MEP commissioning activities with an emphasis on healthcare and building infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for our clients at each of their facilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, energy analysis, creating technical reports, and recommending improvements for HVAC systems.
• Participate in firm’s QA/QC process by provding feedback on lessons learned in commissioning.
• Evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, and responses to RFI’s.
• Prepare, review, and approve contraction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Market commissioning services to new and existing clientele.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with MEP systems in the field of Consulting Engineering, Commissioning or Test and Balance.
• Professional Engineer and Commissioning certifications are preferred.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and/ or plumbing systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to visit project worksites to perform commissioning tests and help evaluate MEP system operations.
